4. Do not submit unnecessary sensitive data

Career documents can contain information that is not needed for the service.

Please avoid submitting unnecessary:

  • health or disability information;
  • racial or ethnic origin;
  • religious or political beliefs;
  • trade-union information;
  • sexual-life or sexual-orientation information;
  • government identification numbers;
  • bank details;
  • criminal-record information;
  • confidential third-party or employer information.

If such information is genuinely relevant, contact us first where practical.

5. Why we process data

We use personal data to:

  • create and secure accounts;
  • provide the purchased service;
  • review whether a case is within scope;
  • communicate with customers;
  • process orders and refunds;
  • prevent fraud and abuse;
  • maintain service and audit records;
  • handle complaints and legal claims;
  • comply with accounting, tax, payment, and legal obligations;
  • improve the product and service;
  • measure website and campaign performance where permitted;
  • send marketing only where legally permitted.

6. Legal bases

Depending on the context, processing is based on:

  • performance of a contract or steps requested before entering a contract;
  • compliance with legal obligations;
  • legitimate interests, such as service security, fraud prevention, support, and improvement, where those interests are not overridden by individual rights;
  • consent, especially for non-essential analytics, advertising, or marketing where consent is required;
  • establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims where applicable.

7. Human delivery and automated tools

WorkWorry is a human-delivered service.

We may use software tools to organize intake, route messages, summarize operational information, detect abuse, or support internal workflows.

Before any external AI provider processes identifiable customer content, WorkWorry must identify that provider in its internal data inventory, establish an appropriate legal and contractual basis, and update this policy where required.

WorkWorry does not make solely automated decisions that determine whether a person receives a job, interview, or employment opportunity.

8. Who receives data

We may share the minimum necessary data with:

  • staff and specialists assigned to the case;
  • hosting and infrastructure providers;
  • database, storage, and security providers;
  • email and communications providers;
  • payment providers and banks;
  • analytics and advertising providers where enabled;
  • professional advisers such as accountants or lawyers;
  • public authorities where legally required.

Current analytics and advertising providers:

  • Google Analytics 4 (Google) — website analytics and performance measurement;
  • Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms) — advertising and campaign measurement.

Payment providers act under their own privacy notices for data they independently collect and process.

9. International transfers

Some providers may process data outside Serbia or outside your country.

Where required, we use an appropriate transfer mechanism or other lawful safeguard and assess the provider’s role and security.

Contact privacy@workworry.com for more information about relevant safeguards.

10. Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.

Current retention schedule:

  • account and workspace data: retained while the account is active and as needed to provide, administer, secure, and document the service. The current system does not automatically delete account or Workspace records;
  • direct identifiers in completed conversations: no automatic de-identification or deletion period is currently configured. Completed conversations are retained as long-term Case history. Before Conversation data is retained for future analytical use, direct identifiers and links to sensitive original Files must be removed;
  • original Files submitted through a Workspace: 36 months after the last terminal ServicePeriod, unless an approved deletion workflow removes them earlier;
  • order, payment, refund, complaint, tax, and accounting records: for the period required by applicable law;
  • security and audit logs: The backend currently has no configured duration and automatic deletion is disabled under Decision 8;
  • consent records: for as long as needed to demonstrate the applicable consent and legal version;
  • analytics data: according to configured provider retention settings.

Where possible, completed conversation data may be de-identified while useful non-identifying product knowledge is retained.

Data may be retained longer where required for a dispute, legal claim, fraud investigation, or legal obligation.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including access controls, authentication, audit logs, role separation, secure providers, and backups where appropriate.

No system is completely secure. Contact privacy@workworry.com if you believe an account or personal data may have been compromised.

12. Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to:

  • receive information about processing;
  • access personal data;
  • correct inaccurate data;
  • request deletion;
  • restrict processing;
  • object to certain processing;
  • receive portable data;
  • withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing;
  • complain to a supervisory authority.

Requests may be sent to privacy@workworry.com. We may need to verify identity before acting.

In Serbia, the relevant supervisory authority is the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection.

13. Cookies and tracking

Our use of cookies, local storage, analytics, Meta Pixel, Conversions API, and related technologies is described in the Cookie Policy.

Analytics, Meta Pixel, and Meta Conversions API advertising events remain inactive until the relevant consent category is explicitly granted.

14. Payment data

Payments are processed by the payment provider displayed during secure checkout.

WorkWorry receives transaction metadata needed to create the order, activate service, reconcile payment, issue refunds, prevent fraud, and handle disputes.

We do not receive or store the full card number or security code.

15. Communications

Transactional messages about accounts, orders, service delivery, security, refunds, and complaints are necessary to provide and administer the service.

Marketing messages, if introduced, will include the legally required choice to opt out.

16. Children and legal capacity

The service is not directed to children under 16.

A customer must have legal capacity to purchase the service. Where the customer is below the age of majority in their jurisdiction, a parent or guardian must purchase or approve the service where required by law.

17. Third-party links and customer materials

The website or workspace may link to job platforms, employer websites, LinkedIn, or other third parties. Their privacy practices are outside our control.

Customers should avoid submitting third-party personal data that is not necessary for the service.

18. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when data practices, providers, or legal requirements change.

The effective date and version appear at the top. Material changes will be communicated where required.
